Nitrogen oxides or “NOx” emissions are a main component of greenhouse gases, and are produced during combustion processes from the burning of coal, natural gas, oil, biomass, or other fuel sources. Nitrogen dioxide pollutants are seen as smog, imparting a hazy reddish-brown hue to the sky.
Aether dbs designs and manufactures ammonia supply systems for air pollution reduction, or “DeNOx.” The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology used in DeNOx involves injecting ammonia into the flue gas upstream of a catalyst bed. The catalyst aids in combining the ammonia with the NOx to form nitrogen and water vapor. In addition, ammonia supply systems can also be used for pH Control, Chilling Processes, and other chemical treatments.
A typical Ammonia System includes storage tanks, a pumpset, vaporizers, and flow control units - with transfer compressors, rail car units, tank platforms, and fogging water filtration/heater units based on individual projects needs. We also provide customized package solution with a vaporizer and flow control unit on one skid.
Aether dbs supplies both aqueous and anhydrous ammonia reagent supply systems for utility and industrial processes. Our multi-disciplined engineering, drafting, and project management departments support our internal ASME fabrication facility and UL 508A certified panel shop. At aether dbs, we believe every project we undertake is a contribution we can make toward helping our clients minimize their environmental impact.
