Beverage Distribution Facility Design/Build, Ohio

Aether DBS began this project by completing an initial Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on an existing building that a large beverage company wanted to use as a regional distribution center.  Following the assessment, Aether was chosen to design and oversee the construction management of the changes that were required to make the facility efficient for the client.

The project activities included:

  • interior building modifications

  • relocating the loading docks

  • adding electrical rolling doors

  • adding a prefabricated gatehouse

  • adding secure fencing

  • designing and building new asphalt parking lot

  • parking lot and perimeter lighting

Critical to the project was the design of stormwater control systems that would provide storage for onsite runoff, which were calculated to hold the 100 year, 24 hour storm.  This included detention ponds, catch basins, stormwater piping, and inlet and outlet structures.  Aether dbs also provided a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the site.
